CLUSTER BEANS

They can be fed to milking cows.

PAIN OF CATTLE AFTER HARD WORK

Boil Nunaa leaves (Vitex Negundo) in water and give them bath. A cot can be made for humans to sleep after hard work.

UNIQUE FEATURES OF CATTLE

Cattle are used to plough the filed because they have Calcium and Phosphorus in their feet. They absorb these things through their horns from the sunlight and pass them on through their feet to the soil.

DISEASE PREVENTION FOR CATTLE

Skinned Aloe Vera gel and Mehandi should be ground. Sprinkle Turmeric powder. Add Lemon juice. Grind together. Mix with bran and jaggary. Feed them.

MATURING OF COWS

During New Moon and Full Moon days, more number of cows mature.

ASHWAGANDHA AND CATTLE

Cattle do not eat Ashwagandha leaves.

PLOUGHING CATTLE

Umbalachery (Tamil) cattle’s legs are short which enable them to plough easily. For hard work, Kaangeyam (Tamil) cattle are useful.

BARGUR CATTLE

10 months old bull calves are sold at Rs.15,000 per pair. They are more resistant against diseases. They pull heavy weights and plough very well. They need not be fixed with artificial hooves (Laadam) because their hooves are very hard and so called as stone hooves. Except on roads, they don’t need hooves in

any other place. These cows yield 2 litres milk twice a day. They get their food from grazing on their own. They grow healthy by drinking just water.
