TO MAKE THEM WALK MORE BRISKLY AND FAST
Bulls and horses can be fed with the Vizhudhi leaves (Cadaba Fructicosa) to make them walk briskly. They are ground into balls and fed during races.
NETTLES FOR FOOD
When cut and allowed to dry, Nettles can be mixed with hay and fed to cattle to increase the yield of milk; for hen, to increase laying. The seeds mixed with food increases the glossiness of the dogs’ and horses’ coats.
WOUNDS
A paste made of the green berries of Ashwagandha with leaves and small twig is useful for treating saddle-sores and girth-galls in horses.
